Villa to rent in Foz de Arelho on the Silver Coast in Portugal
If you already know Foz you will be aware of just how special a place it is. We first stumbled upon it by chance in February 2006 and even though the sun wasn’t shining, we were hooked! The beaches are indescribably beautiful and relatively quiet even in high season and the village is a real community which exists all year round.

Our very spacious 3 bedroomed villa, built in 2006 is one of six in a quiet hillside location in Foz village.The expansive open plan lounge/dining area is beautifully light with stunning views of the Obidos lagoon and Foz beach beyond. Enjoy sitting on the terrace outside the lounge or alternatively lazing comfortably on the large curved sofa inside. A flat screen TV and a DVD player are provided with a selection of popular DVDs. Those who like games or books will find a selection of both, kindly added to by previous guests.
A fully equipped kitchen including oven, hob, microwave, large fridge freezer and dishwasher leads from the dining area. Electric kettle, coffee maker and the all important teapot are also available.
A confirmed booking will be made on receipt of a 20% deposit which can be arranged via the Booking Form on this website. At this stage key holding, house location and staying details will be emailed to you.
Double patio doors lead from the dining area to a large private, secluded terrace with large table, 6 chairs and brick built barbecue for those long lazy lunches or evenings. Going up the beautiful solid hardwood staircase from the hall and pausing on the landing you will have your first view of the pool from the enormous picture window.
A few steps more will lead you to three large double bedrooms all with large patio windows, terraces and lagoon views. Luxury hardwood fitted wardrobes and drawers provide ample storage space for the holiday clothes. The master bedroom has a double bed, ensuite bathroom with toilet and shower, and a dressing area. A further bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet serves the two twin bedded rooms.
Below the villa is an extremely large basement incorporating a double garage and/or boat storage area, utility room and also, extremely useful for sandy surfers, a shower room with toilet. The basement can be accessed by steps from the hall or by car from the entrance gate and remote controlled garage door.
To the rear of the villa is the shared infinity swimming pool with tiled surround for sunbathing, and further grassed garden area.
Indoor towels and bed linen are provided but we request that you bring your own beach towels please.
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO FENCE AROUND THE POOL AND THE BALCONY RAILINGS ON THE HOUSE ARE CLIMBABLE! YOUNG CHILDREN WILL NEED CLOSE SUPERVISION.
